Chris Kresser: Next question, “In what proportion of patients with SIBO are you able to resolve their SIBO by treating their other underlying issues rather than directly treating their SIBO?”
That’s a good question. I can’t give you a specific number, but it’s a growing interest in focus because directly treating SIBO can be challenging, and it also has such a high recurrence rate. We’re very often looking at what other causes might be present and how we can address those both in terms of the initial treatment [and] also in terms of reducing recurrence.
