Chris Kresser: Yeah, I mean it kind of depends on which form of cortisol, like whether free cortisol is high or metabolized cortisol is high. This is just purely anecdotal. There’s no research that I know of on this. But what I’ve observed is that adaptogens typically will increase free cortisol a little bit without changing metabolized cortisol. Or they may, in some cases, I’ve even seen metabolized cortisol go down a little bit, but I don’t know if it’s actually significant. We just don’t have enough data. But I would feel okay using adaptogens. Most adaptogens, even when cortisol was a little high, but I would be careful if free cortisol was really high and I would tend to use HPA Balance more in that situation as I indicated in the HPA axis unit.
Okay, so that’s actually all the questions that were submitted for this week and from the live call. But I’m going to go back to some of the webinar questions that we weren’t able to answer last time. So give me a second to get over to that tab.
Okay, so let me see here. Some of these are referencing specific slides and specific presentations which I don’t have pulled up at the moment. I’m not sure, Lauren maybe, and then it refers to last week. This is 6/25. We’ll skip that one and we’ll come back to it.
