Chris Kresser: Next question, let me see here. I’m going to make sure I answer questions from each person. I wonder if, in the future, there’s a way of splitting these up so that they’re not all together from each person. Okay, so Helen, “Are Lyme patients’ chronic illness that comes and goes under the category of immunocompromised patients that we should be careful with [for] the use of Saccharomyces boulardii? ”
Not necessarily. I think “immunocompromised” tends to be referring to more severe conditions like HIV and AIDS or conditions where the immune system is really just not functioning in the way that it typically would. It could be the case for somebody with Lyme if it’s severe enough, but if it’s a more mild condition like chronic illness coming and going, I don’t think you’d need to be concerned with that.
