Scott Solomons, DDS

Scott Solomons, DDS, has practiced General Dentistry at Dental Associates of Connecticut since 1989. He focuses on creating healthier patients through a comprehensive approach that combines modern dentistry practices, ancestrally based Functional dentistry and medicine, nutrition, and general health concepts. He graduated from the first-ever Paleo-based Functional Medicine training program in the world: The ADAPT Practitioner Training Program from the Kresser Institute. He received his DDS at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City, with a concentration in TMJ disorders. He interned with the US Coast Guard in Alameda, California, and then went on to receive a Fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

He belongs to a number of dental and medical organizations. These include the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Greater Danbury Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network, and the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM). He is also certified in the safe removal of silver (mercury) fillings (SMART certified).

He also belongs to the Paleo Physicians Network, Primal Docs, and the Ancestral Health Society. He is a regular speaker at the Ancestral Health Symposium and maintains a weekly blog on www.drscottsolomons.com. His goal is to empower patients with enough practical knowledge to lead happy, healthy, vibrant lives through simple lifestyle changes and thus avoiding costly dental and medical treatments.
