Dr. Amy Nett: Just of note, depending on the age of the patient, I think you see diverticulosis in probably every patient over the age of, I would say, about 50. I say that as a former radiologist having looking at hundreds if not over 1,000 CT scans and MRIs. Diverticulosis is incredibly common. It’s only when it becomes diverticulitis that it becomes an issue, so, unfortunately, diverticulosis I would say is really the rule rather than the exception.
