Dr. Amy Nett: I don’t generally use sparkling mineral water. I don’t generally recommend it specifically as a health food, but I think if someone’s using it as a substitute for alcohol, that’s a great substitute. So, if it’s just something that they’re having one or two glasses of sparkling water in the evening instead of beer or wine, I think that’s fantastic. I wouldn’t use sparkling water in place of regular water.
