Dr. Amy Nett: Well, it depends how far out of range they are, because so I would most often use DIM Detox, and I’ll either use maybe one or two capsules once daily. So if they’re pretty far out of range, maybe two capsules daily for two to three months, and then you could either just reduce the dose to one capsule daily for another month then repeat. So it really depends on the degree to which it’s out of range. High E3, so remember estriol,, or E3, is actually the weakest estrogen. So depending on how high E3 is, I wouldn’t necessarily worry about it. It’s more E2, or estradiol, that I worry about. The 4-OHE(1), I agree, you do want to kind of shift the hormone metabolism more to the 2-OHE(1). But I wouldn’t necessarily worry just about high E3 because that’s going to be the weakest androgen. I’m sorry, the weakest estrogen, sorry.

She looks pretty good outside of some functional iron deficiency, lack of protein in her diet, possible HCl, and electrolyte imbalances. Advised Paleo reset and then hormone testing. What tests do you suggest, and should they be done when on birth control or at some point went off the pills? I want to prep well before she goes off BCs so she can have less symptoms and then regulate her conception.
