I’m going to ask what dietary analysis software do you recommend or use?

Laura Schoenfeld: I typically use MyFitnessPal with my clients. The reason for that is because it’s very easy as far as food diaries are concerned. It’s a lot easier for people to put the information into an app or website than if they send me a food diary and then I have to put it in. A lot of times when they’re writing the food diary, they don’t actually put any of the specific amounts in there, so if you want to have a client do a food diary, then something like MyFitnessPal is good because it forces them to be very specific about what they’ve been eating. That’s what I use as far as dealing with dietary analysis for clients. If you’re talking about having a food diary that is sent to you that is not pre-analyzed and you can put it into MyFitnessPal, there are a bunch of other apps, but that’s the one that I use. There are probably three to five options at minimum that you could try, and if you don’t like MyFitnessPal, then I would just do a Google search to see if there’s another one that could be a better fit for you.
