Dr. Amy Nett: So again we really use activated charcoal or modified citrus pectin only when people really aren’t tolerating the antifungal protocol well. So they have detox reactions, joint pain, that’s more often when we bring in the activated charcoal or modified citrus pectin. So it’s absolutely okay to not use it. It’s just something that we bring in when the patient needs a little more support.
