Chris Kresser: MCT oil is a lot, is pure MCT, whereas coconut is only about half MCT. So you need a lot more coconut or even less. So you need a lot more coconut oil than the same amount of MCT. And so MCT, I would start with just maybe one tablespoon that’s separated maybe into one teaspoon three times a day. See how that goes. Or you could go up to two tablespoons and then the leucine should be taken. You can try taking it on an empty stomach. Sometimes people feel a bit nauseous that way and you could try in that case taking with meals.
