Chris Kresser: I’m not totally sure what passwords you’re referring to, but if it’s for our WordPress blog and all of this kind of stuff, I use one password, and we have a shared vault with one password. We were using a tool called CommonKey, which allows for secure password sharing amongst team members and found that it was kind of clunky and it didn’t work very well. 1password isn’t fantastic either in terms of the user interface and the sharing features, but it is very secure. I think that’s what you’re asking, Brooke.
Then the measures that we take to protect digital content and paid courses, I think we kind of addressed that before. What we’re moving to is an app for iOS and Android that allows people to consume audio and video on their mobile devices without offering a download, and that’s the best way to secure audio and video content. For PDFs, there’s really no good way that I’ve heard of that allows you to protect that content and keep it from being shared. I mean, if you have a password, it’s easy for someone, if they share it, just to share the password, so that doesn’t really do anything other than make it a pain in the butt for people who are not going to share it to access it. I’ve investigated various services and options, but there really isn’t one that I can think of.
