Have you seen Proglyco-Synergy?

Dr. Amy Nett:  No, I haven’t. I’m going to really quickly look it up. Oh, from Apex Energetics. Okay. So, I’ll have to look into this one a little bit more. It’s kind of looking like a multivitamin with some adaptogens and some glandulars. Okay, so this has a lot in it. It also has the Panax ginseng, so there’s going to be a limited number of patients I would want to use this with because look at how much stuff this has in it. It also has licorice root, and it has bovine adrenal. I would have a couple questions or concerns because this has like bovine liver, bovine pituitary, bovine pancreas. I would be reluctant to use this one. One question I always have is, like, what is the sourcing of the bovine glands? That’s one of the reasons we use like Dr. Ron’s glandulars because we know, okay, these are New Zealand pastured cows. No history of mad cow disease. Really clear on sourcing. I’m sure Apex does a good job on sourcing, but there is always just a little bit of a question.

There are so many ingredients in this that with someone who’s sensitive you have to be really cautious. Maybe that’s fine, but I have some patients who are really sensitive to adrenal glandulars, so I’d be worried about the bovine adrenal and the licorice root also. Looking at what else is in this. Let’s see. A lot of B vitamins, some folate, so a little bit of caution there. Yeah, otherwise, it looks fine, but again, it could be worth a try. There are just a lot of things in there, so if a patient doesn’t react well, you’re not going to know what they are reacting to. It depends on the cost of it too because, you know, sometimes patients buy these big containers, and then it’s like, and now what? So, yeah, you’re right. The synergy complexes do have a lot of stuff. I agree.

You’re saying Dr. Kharrazian uses it in his protocols for low blood sugar, low blood pressure, and low cortisol. Yeah, that would be the patient to use it in, is if they have that triple combination of low blood sugar, low blood pressure, and low cortisol. You hit it exactly because that’s what it has, and it has to be somebody too who doesn’t have any anxiety issues I would think because of the adaptogens, the adrenal glandular, and the licorice in there. Good go-to if you have a patient with all of those, so that’s a good one, though. I’ll keep it in mind, and if I come across a patient like that, I’ll give it a try. I don’t think I’ve seen that many patients with low blood pressure, actually, relatively few, but I’ll keep an eye out. All right, so thanks for that info.
