Chris Kresser: To be honest, I’m not sure we’ve done rigorous testing on that, but I certainly found early on, before I was using InterFase Plus, when we added it to the antimicrobial protocols, they became clearly more effective. InterFase Plus is one of the supplements that tends to generate the most die-off reaction, and we use that as a guide to what’s having a potent therapeutic effect, then that would suggest that InterFase may be an important part of the treatment protocol. There are a lot of recent studies looking at biofilm and how significant the protective effect of biofilm is against our own immune defenses and any external antimicrobials that we might take. I have seen a difference with biofilm disruption, and I’m not sure how to explain why other practitioners are not seeing that difference. That’s just been my experience so far.
