Dr. Amy Nett: Sometimes we actually see just like increased anxiety, people feel a little bit more wired, sometimes people feel a little bit more agitated, some people notice more jaw clenching or teeth grinding. What other responses have I seen? Those are some of the most common that I’ve seen it. It seems to be a little bit more in the way of agitation. I think I’ve had some people who’ve felt almost a little bit more just fatigue and what they described as just sort of feeling more detoxy almost. So in that case, and we have some people who really just don’t seem to be able to tolerate methyltetrahydrofolate, or MTHF, almost at all. Even using the liquid form they can tolerate maybe, maybe one drop. So some people are sensitive. They’ll generally know because once they start it, they’re going to say I took this, didn’t tolerate it. So I think in most of our patients it’s been pretty clear when they just haven’t tolerated it.
