Dr. Amy Nett: Yeah, and I think I saw a question about using EnteraGam for IBD. EnteraGam is similar to colostrum, in that it provides IgG without dairy, which a lot of patients with IBD can’t tolerate. I actually haven’t used EnteraGam. I don’t think Chris has either. Yeah, unfortunately, I just don’t have experience in using EnteraGam with IBD, unfortunately. Sorry I don’t have more information on that one.
Regarding the bovine source of the dextrose, which can put someone at risk for prions, yeah, I’m generally very cautious whenever recommending anything derived from a bovine source. As I mentioned, for the collagen peptides, that sort of thing, always look at sourcing. I tend to do sourcing from New Zealand or Argentina, where there’s no history of mad cow disease. Be really careful to watch your sourcing on those.
